| MAGNet,
the Multiclient Airborne Geophysics Network, is a database
of company-funded airborne geophysical surveys. It has
been jointly established by Pitt Research Pty Ltd and
Geoimage Pty Ltd, two long-established Australian companies
with a track record of providing high-quality yet competitively-priced
services to the exploration industry. |
The
MAGNet Database provides:
- A
centralised, current and consistent database of airborne
geophysical surveys (complementing open-file surveys
where appropriate) available for re-sale to the exploration
community.
- A
mechanism which relieves contributor companies of
much of the day-to-day distractions of managing, negotiating,
and effecting geophysical data swaps and sales.
- A
data repository that meets the requirements of the
current guidelines for WA Dept of Minerals and Energy
for the lodgment of "multi-client" surveys.
